For starters, visiting a pediatric dentist means visiting a dentist that has completed further training in pediatric dentistry on top of their standard
dental education.
This is in addition to a four-year college degree and dental school graduation. This chapter in their educational lives includes specialized training in how to treat the unique dental concerns of infants, children, and teens, such as proper teeth development. Pediatric dentists have also gained valuable experience in working directly with children, so they are more accustomed
to helping kids who are scared or nervous feel completely at ease in the dental chair.
